How to Apply
Apply through registered recruitment agencies that have contracts with Saudi cleaning companies. Submit a simple CV with photo, passport copy, and basic biodata. The agency arranges all visa documentation, medical, and travel. Major cleaning companies recruit through dedicated HR teams handling hundreds of new hires monthly.
Female Cleaning Workers – Special Considerations
Female recruitment has increased significantly. Female cleaners receive separate accommodation with female supervisors. Cultural compliance (abaya during commute, modest behavior) is expected. Female cleaners often work in female-only environments (ladies’ sections of malls, female schools, hospitals’ female wards). Salary and benefits are equal to male counterparts.
Career Growth in Cleaning
Career paths: cleaner → senior cleaner → team leader → supervisor → operations supervisor → operations manager → contract manager → general manager. Specialized paths include facility management certifications, hospital infection control specialist, high-rise cleaning specialist. Many cleaning workers progress to supervisor roles within 3-5 years.
Avoiding Fraud
Cleaning jobs are entry-level positions where many fraudulent agents target uneducated workers. Genuine Saudi cleaning jobs charge nominal fees (typically SAR 5,000-15,000 maximum). Never pay SAR 30,000+ for cleaning jobs – this is a clear fraud indicator. Always demand a written offer letter with salary, location, and benefits clearly stated. Cross-check the employer name with the Saudi labor ministry database.
