Delivery Rider & Logistics Driver Jobs in Dubai: Companies Hiring Now
Dubai’s booming e-commerce sector and world-class infrastructure have made it one of the most active hiring markets for delivery riders and logistics drivers anywhere in the world. If you are looking for jobs in Dubai with visa sponsorship, the transport and delivery sector offers some of the most accessible entry points for foreign workers in 2026. Whether you ride a motorcycle for a food delivery platform or drive a van for a freight company, Dubai has openings across every level of logistics. This guide covers who is hiring, what salaries to expect, how the MOHRE work permit process works, and exactly how to apply from abroad.
Why Dubai Is a Top Destination for Delivery and Logistics Workers
Dubai sits at the crossroads of global trade routes, making logistics one of the foundational pillars of its economy. The city processed more than 100 million e-commerce deliveries in a single year recently, and that number continues to climb. For workers seeking expat jobs Dubai, the combination of a tax free salary Dubai environment, employer-provided visa, and often free accommodation makes this one of the best financial decisions a foreign worker can make.
Unlike many countries, the UAE does not levy income tax on salaries. Every dirham you earn is yours to keep or send home. That single factor turns an average-looking monthly salary into exceptional real earnings compared to most countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia, or Africa.

Courier and Parcel Companies
Aramex, Fetchr, and DHL Express are three of the largest employers for van drivers and parcel couriers. These roles typically come with a company vehicle, UAE driving licence sponsorship, and structured shifts. Aramex in particular is known for transparent contracts registered under the MOHRE work permit system, which protects workers from illegal deductions.
Retail and Grocery Delivery
Carrefour, LuLu Hypermarket, and Noon Grocery have all scaled up same-day delivery operations. Drivers for these platforms often earn more stable monthly salaries compared to gig-based riders because they work as direct employees rather than contractors.
Freight and Long-Haul Logistics
Companies such as Agility Logistics, Transguard Group, and GAC Group hire heavy vehicle drivers for inter-emirate and sometimes cross-border routes into Saudi Arabia and Oman. These positions require a UAE heavy vehicle licence or an internationally recognized equivalent, but they also pay the highest salaries in this category.

Understanding the MOHRE Work Permit and UAE Visa Sponsorship Process
For anyone pursuing UAE visa sponsorship jobs, understanding the legal framework protects you from fraud. MOHRE stands for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. Every legitimate employer in the UAE must register your employment contract with MOHRE before you can receive a UAE residence visa linked to that job.
The standard process works as follows. Your employer applies for a work permit through MOHRE, which involves submitting your passport copy, qualifications, and job offer details. Once approved, you travel to Dubai on an entry permit. You then complete a medical fitness test and biometric registration. Your Emirates ID and two-year residence visa are issued after that. The entire process is funded by the employer for genuine UAE visa sponsorship jobs – you should never pay for your own visa.
If a recruiter asks you to pay visa fees upfront, this is a red flag. Legitimate jobs in Dubai with visa sponsorship transfer all sponsorship costs to the employer by law.
What Qualifications Do You Need
Most delivery rider positions do not require a university degree. Employers look for a valid motorcycle or car driving licence, basic English or Arabic communication skills, smartphone navigation ability, and physical fitness for the role. A clean driving record is important.
For van or truck driving roles, you will need a UAE driving licence in the appropriate category or a foreign licence that qualifies for direct conversion. Nationalities whose licences convert without a full test include UK, US, Canada, Australia, Germany, and several other countries. Drivers from countries not on this list must pass the UAE road test.
Heavy vehicle positions require Category 3 or Category 4 UAE licences. Some employers sponsor the licence upgrade cost if you already hold a valid light vehicle licence.
How to Apply for Delivery and Logistics Jobs in Dubai from Abroad
Applying for work in Dubai 2026 from outside the country follows a straightforward path if you use legitimate channels.
Start by preparing a simple one-page CV that lists your driving experience, licence categories, languages spoken, and any previous logistics employer. Include your nationality and passport validity date because employers need this for visa planning.
Search job boards that specialize in Dubai jobs for foreigners. Gulf Talent, Bayt, LinkedIn, and Indeed Gulf all list verified openings. Avoid Facebook groups that ask for payment or share offers without a named company.
When you receive an offer, ask for the company trade licence number and verify it through the MOHRE website. A legitimate employer will have no issue providing this. Request a written offer letter before travelling to Dubai.
Once your offer is confirmed, your employer will send you the entry permit to your email. Use only this permit to book your flight. Do not travel on a tourist visa expecting to convert it to a work visa, as this creates complications with immigration.
Tips for Succeeding as a Delivery Rider or Driver in Dubai
Adjust to the climate early. Dubai summers are extremely hot, and outdoor riders face temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius from June through September. Most platforms reduce daytime outdoor hours during this period and shift work to early mornings and evenings.
Learn Google Maps and the UAE district naming system. Dubai uses area names like Deira, Jumeirah, Business Bay, and Al Quoz rather than street numbers alone. Riders who learn these quickly earn more deliveries because they complete routes faster.
Open a UAE bank account within your first month. Most employers pay by bank transfer, and having a local account avoids fees. Emirates NBD, Mashreq, and RAKBANK all offer accounts suitable for expat workers at entry-level income.
Stay registered with MOHRE. Your contract is your legal protection. If you ever face unpaid wages, MOHRE has a free wage protection complaint system that employers take seriously.
